Class Blog

Welcome to our class blog, we are now beginning our third term of this session, how time is flies!

Language

We are now working with a new reading programme called

‘Project X’. It looks like it will be fun to read.

In our Big Writing sessions our focus will be on

Imaginative Writing.

Maths

In Maths we will be looking at Fractions, Data Handling,

Mental Maths, Times Tables and Problem Solving,

we are going to be very busy!

Topic

At this time of year we have a focus on Scotland and we are going to compare Scotland and New Zealand, already we are finding some interesting facts.

Educational Trips

So far we are going to Celtic Connections in Glasgow to see a performance, dates and details to follow.

P.E.

We are learning many Scottish dances to help us enjoy and participate fully at the school ceilidh.

We will also be learning a traditional New Zealand Haka.

Burns

Celebrations

As part of our Burns celebrations we are learning a poem called

‘Sam the Skull’, we think it’s a very funny poem!
